Haiti Disater Relief
Calling all Beta Alumni...
The reports of devastation in Haiti over the past few days remind us of how fortunate we are to live in a country like the United States. As American citizens and Beta Club Alumni we are called to serve those who had virtually nothing to begin with and now, due to an earthquake, are struggling to simply exist.

Welcome Back to Beta
Welcome back to Beta! It is the goal of the National Beta Club home office to reconnect Beta Alumni. We want to know what you've been doing with your life. We want to know how Beta's are positively impacting their community, business, and the nation.
There are 5.5 million Beta Alumni--that is an awesome number of folks--and we know there are awesome things being accomplished. Please take the time to share some of your experiences with up-and-coming Betas. Your stories can inspire others to take advantage of the Beta opportunity.
History
1934 . . . a year that saw many exciting events and changes throughout the world . . . The Dionne sisters (the first quintuplets to survive birth) were born in Canada, The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Detroit Lions for the World Series, Henrik Dam discovered Vitamin K, a first class stamp cost $0.03 and The National Beta Club was formed in Spartanburg, S.C. The National Beta Club began as the dream of Dr. John W. Harris, a professor at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C. Dr. Harris conceived an organization that would recognize academic achievement among high school students.
